Overview
nVent RAYCHEM RHS tank heating pads are designed for applications ranging from freeze protection to process temperature maintenance of tanks. RAYCHEM RHS tank heating pads are available in two power densities (RHS-H for 1.9 W/in2 and RHS-L for 0.6 W/in2), making them ideal for metal tanks (lined and unlined) and plastic tanks. They offer a cost-effective solution in applications where even heat distribution is not required. RHS-L may be used on tank walls capable of a maintain temperature up to 120°F (49°C), and RHS-H may be used on tanks with walls capable of up to 200°F (93°C).
Additional information on RAYCHEM RHS pads for tank heating:
- FM Approvals and CSA International (CSA) have approved RAYCHEM RHS tank heating pads for use in both nonhazardous and hazardous locations.
- They are not recommended for highly temperature-sensitive fluids.
