This nVent RAYCHEM 3SC-SSC connection kit is a below insulation splice kit for RAYCHEM 3SC30, 3SC40 and 3SC50 heating cables. It is approved by CSA and FM for use in hazardous locations.

Technical Specifications
- The connection kit shall be constructed of copper free aluminum NEMA 4 rated enclosure with epoxy finish and should fit below a 2 inch insulation.
- The connection mechanism shall be high temperature soldered crimps for reliable and long-term good electrical contact
- The connection kit should be sealed with potting compound rated for 250°C continuous exposure temperature.
- The connection kit shall be rated to a minimum installation temperature of -40°F (-40°C), and maximum pipe temperature of 482°F (250°C).
